Javad Shamaghdari, cinematic deputy of culture and Islamic guidance minister, issued a message for 28th Fajr International Film Festival and said "We want a cinema for 70 million Iranian".
The message of Shamaghdari to FIFF is as follows: We love people. So we want a popular cinema to be in contact with 70 million Iranian audiences. We love dear Iran. So we wish a cinema which recognizes Iranian culture and identity. We are proud that we are Muslim. So we struggle to have a cinema under the Islamic culture and knowing relying on Islamic belief and faith. Islamic revolution is our future path. So we recognize a cinema faithful to the values and ideals of revolution and the way of martyrs and goes to the way of Imam, hope, self-belief, self-esteem and independence. We think globally. So Iranian cinema should go beyond geographical boundaries and have a nice answer to it's thirsty audience. Cinema is art. So we lose heart to a cinema bring us all these in a beautiful and artistic way. Technique, skill, creativity, charming stories, creating attractive and legendary characters, forming beautiful frames and drawing an ideal point for those who looking for the human's prosperity are this way's essentials. Our struggle and plan would be to achieve an identity for this cinema and we know very beautiful and efficient thoughts and motivations will help us in this way. |
